The Challenge
As generative AI transformed the search landscape, marketers were scrambling to understand how to maintain visibility within Google’s AI Overviews and AI Mode. Quora had a massive opportunity to position itself as a critical layer in this new AEO era, but we needed a high-authority partner to validate and amplify this narrative to a global SEO audience.
The Strategy
I identified a strategic opportunity to place Quora at the center of the already hot-button topics of SEO/AEO and AI. After spotting organic mentions of Quora in Semrush research content, I cold-outreached their marketing and PR teams to propose a first-of-its-kind partnership: we would share Quora’s proprietary platform data to provide Semrush unique insights for a co-branded research report on AI search visibility.
Execution
Content & Webinar Production: Managed the Quora-side delivery of the partnership including NDA process, data science staffing for data pull, and synthesizing raw findings into a marketing-friendly narrative. I drove the production of the co-branded webinar, including narrative development, slide creation, and final delivery alongside Semrush's leadership.
Speaker Coaching & Enablement: Selected and coached our Quora representative for the live session and collaborated with Semrush to curate the live Q&A. I prioritized high-intent audience questions that allowed our representative to naturally showcase Quora’s value proposition within the context of the technical research.
Strategic Promotion: Aligned the launch with a broader brand visibility push, ensuring the research was distributed across both brands' high-authority channels.
